Another excellent, poor-selling Poco album Despite being a pioneer in country rock with their highly acclaimed first album, Pickin' Up The Pieces, these guys could not break into the big leagues. Even with WNEW-FM's heavy rotation of DeLIVErin' (thanks Pete Fornatale ), success was always just out of reach. This was probably their last best shot, and after one more (Crazy Eyes), founder Richie Furay had had enough and quit. It's really a shame. They were that good... |
