The Real Beach Boys play on That's Not Me only. It's Brian solo on most others. Check wiki for details, song-by-song .
The dogs are Banana and Louie (Brian's) and the train is #58, "The Owl" roaring thru Edison.
After a 1994 suit (not polyester), Mike Love was awarded song writing credits on Nice, Answer, and a lot of earlier songs
that I didn't bother to correct. Given his history with the Wilsons, screw him.

Capitol Sucks!

Bean counters at Capitol hated Pet Sounds—no summerycarchicksurfin hits in this f*ckin' record! What is this crap—strings, horns, and the lyrics! They rush released the first of thousands of Beach Boys' Hits records out on July 5, thus undercutting any sales potential, which in the process bitch-slapped Brian into seclusion. But boy, do those creeps love making money off it now! Session Box (97), 40th (06), 50th (16)—greedy a#*holes. But the music is what matters so we keep payin' (and cussin').

Bruce Johnston took a copy to London where John & Paul instantly knew what this record meant. By the next summer, Sgt Pepper upped the ante.

completed this masterpiece (Yes, Brian "completed" Smile in the early 00s and performed it live—nice, but not the same).
